you have questions Here are the answers!
1. What do you mean by lakebound and riverbound plastic?
For over 10 years we have been producing bags and backpacks with our partners in Cambodia from recycled materials such as rice, fish feed and cement sacks. We are thus helping to ensure that this plastic does not end up in rivers and lakes, which is why we refer to the materials used for our Beadbags Classic range as lakebound and riverbound plastic. It is often overlooked that a large amount of plastic first ends up in lakes and rivers and then often ends up in the oceans. We start at this point and thus prevent plastic endangering the biodiversity in lakes and rivers or subsequently ending up in the seas.
2. What do you mean by oceanbound plastic?
With our Beadbags Ocean range, which will be released in summer 2023, we are making the circle complete. In doing so, we are no longer just helping to avoid lakebound and riverbound plastic, but also ocean plastic collected within 50 kilometers (or 30 miles) of shorelines. So look forward to our new Beadbags Ocean range.
