Use of Social Media Profiles
We maintain online profiles on the social networks and platforms listed below. These profiles enable us to communicate directly with customers, prospective customers and users. They also serve to advertise our products and services.
When you access our social media profiles, your data may be collected and stored automatically for advertising and market research purposes. User profiles may be created from these data using pseudonyms. For example, these may be used to display interest-based advertising to you both on and off the platforms. Cookies are regularly used for this purpose; they enable recognition of an internet browser and store your interests and usage behavior.
Processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, reflecting our legitimate interest in communicating directly with users and optimizing our online presence.
If you have given consent to the operators of the respective social media platforms to process your data, for example by ticking a checkbox, processing is based on Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent from the respective platform operator at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
Requests to exercise data subject rights and requests for information can most effectively be addressed directly to the platform providers, because only they have access to your data and can take immediate action or provide information. We will, of course, assist you if necessary.
Further information about the terms of use and privacy policies of the respective platforms, a detailed description of further data processing and available objection options can be found on the providers' websites:
